We love visitors!!

We love having people come in town to visit us!!  It's been a busy, crazy summer with getting moved in, settled and having lots of our family and friends up to visit!  This post is way over-due, but I am just now getting caught up!  Back in July we had nana and Parker in to visit and we had such a fun time!  It was great for Addyson (and Ben!) and Parker to get some quality time and of course the kids loved seeing their Nana too!  All in all, it was a super fun weekend!  Love this pic of the 2 girls!  They are best friends for sure!

Ben didn't miss one minute of fun with the girls!

Just a cute pic of my little Ben!

This pic is a little fuzzy, but it makes me smile.  It actually makes me think of the song "shiny, happy people" or something like that!

At the beginning of August my parents came in town for a few days to visit.  Ryan was super excited about this one because it was our first male visitor!  :)  Addyson gretting MiMi and PaPa in the driveway!

The boys at the Rangers/Royals game!  Rangers won!!  Funny thing- there were probably just as many Rangers fans at the game as Royals fans!

Addyson and MiMi!

Ryan caught a foul ball!  It was pretty exciting!

Must have been something good going on down on the field!

The day after my parents left, Tammy and Jennifer came in town with their kids.  We had the BEST time!!  The kids were so excited to see each other and they all played non-stop!  Fun Fun times!

Ryan, our resident chef for the weekend, cooked us all of our meals (and cleaned up most of the time as well!!).  Thanks Ryan!!  You made our weekend even better!

The boys!

Of course, no trip to Kansas City would be complete without a trip to Deanna Rose!  If any of you visit us, we will probably always come here for a day!  It is super fun and it is right down the street from our house.   It is free Monday through Thursday and $2 per person on the weekends, so not much either way!  They have lots of animals to feed, pony rides, milking a cow, mining for jewels, horse drawn wagon rides, fishing, a couple of really fun playgrounds, tractor riding, feeding baby goats a bottle, an Indian area and more!  Lots of fun!!  The kids love it and we are looking forward to going more once it cools off!

The next day we went to Crown Center to explore around.  Since I am new to the area, we were exploring together!  There is a train exhibit at crown center that was really cute and the kids loved it!

Clayton and Ben being silly!

For lunch we headed over to Fritz's restaurant.  The food is not so great but you order from a telephone at your table and your food is delivered by a train.  The kids love it!

I love this pic!  The lighting is not so great, but the kids are all making funny faces!

Me, Jennifer (32 weeks preggo here!!) and Tammy hanging out on the deck!

Being silly!

We had a great time with our friends and family and I am always sad to see them leave!  It feels weird saying goodbye to people you used to see all the time and knowing that it will be a few months before you see them again.  On that note, who's next to come visit us???  :)
