Outside in January!!

With these amazing temps in January we have been taking full advantage and playing outside a LOT!  Ben could stay outside 24 hours a day and be perfectly happy!

Safety First!!  ;)  He was riding his tractor and stopped, ran into the garage and got this helmet.  Too bad we only have pink helmets!  Guess we need to get a boy one!

okay get this thing off of me!  (Only to run into the garage and get the smaller pink helmet!)

LOVE her!!  Love this pic of her having fun outside!

We were playing a fun game of chase!

Mowing and playing with his leaf blower.  All with helmet in tow!  (And no, I don't require him to wear a helmet to play outside.....he just wanted it on....And a little extra head protection never hurts!)

Ben.....

You have mommy wrapped around your little finger....and you know it!!  Ben has turned in to a 2 year old boy in every sense of the word.  He keeps me laughing at him all day (and others I might add) with all of his silliness and crazy antics.  I love it!  I never knew having a sweet little boy would be this much fun!  And to top it all off he still snuggles in every night as I read him his truck books and then lets me rock him while he lays his head on my shoulder.  Love him so much!

Sweet baby Logan!

Saturday night we had the pleasure of having our sweet friends and new parents Chelsea and Nick over.  The kids were SO excited they were coming over with brand new baby Logan!  Ben is obsessed with babies and he was so sweet to Logan.  He would touch his little hands and kiss his sweet little head.  Very sweet!

Chelsea and Nick are doing great!  They were so relaxed and just naturals I tell ya!  We had planned to eat at 6:15 so that Chelsea could eat her dinner and actually enjoy it and then feed Logan afterwards around 7:00.  Well, that didn't exactly go as planned because dinner was ready at about 6:55.  Go figure!  But she just up and fed him at the table and acted like it was no big deal!  I was always frazzled at feeding at first under the Hooter Hider.  It was just much easier for me to have nothing over me and all of that.   Chelsea did great and seriously was like a seasoned veteran mom!  Logan sure is one lucky guy!

Gentle pats Ben!!!  Be nice to the baby!  This pic looks a little like he is attacking him, but he was being very sweet!

Sweet little Logi-Bear.  He did so great!  Just adorable!

The kids were both giving kisses here...my camera was just a little delayed!

Ben was on cloud 9 around Logan!

This little girl was plum tuckered out once everyone left!

Christmas with MiMi and PaPa

This year we had Christmas with MiMi and PaPa (my parents) on Christmas Eve.  We switch back each year between my parents and Ryan's parents and it works really well!  We got over there mid-day so we could hang out while Ben took his nap.  It's really nice that both of our parents have the full set-up at their houses with pack-n-plays and everything we need so that it's very easy for the kids to do whatever they need to do!
Here is MiMi and Addyson

MiMi and Ben

Addyson and Hallie both got new cute chairs for thier rooms.  Addyson loves hers!

Sweet Hallie!

Ben got a cool tool bench with built in saw.  He loves it!  He loves to tinker with things like this....just like his daddy!

It's always a mad-dash to open presents.  These two aren't competitive or anything.....;)  Ha!  They are just like sisters!

Ready to do some yard work!

With his new blower of course!

Ryan scored some really nice new Ostrich boots!
I got lots of "stay at home mom" clothes gear!  Ha!  What is this you might ask??  Not elastic waist mom jeans or anything....don't worry peeps!  Just comfy "non-work" clothes that I can throw on to do stuff around the house, go run errands, etc.  Warm up suits and the like.  I've been thouroughly enjoying them!  I also got some black sparkely Toms, gift cards and more that I honestly can't recall at the moment.  I know I liked it all though!!  We cooked a yummy Prime Rib dinner, twice baked potatoes, green beans and all that yummy stuff.  My mom is a great cook and so that's always nice to go home to a nice home-cooked dinner like we had growing up.

Christmas Eve Brunch at Grams!

Grams had her annual Christmas Eve brunch at her house again this year and we had a great time!  We are SO lucky and blessed to have the kid's great-grandmother who takes such an active part of all of our lives.  How many people can say that?  She is wonderful and we love her so much!

The kids all get their special decorated table with sugar rimmed OJ in champagne glasses.  They feel so special!

Mmmmm this stuff is good!

We love Grams!

Grams and all of her great-grands!  (Minus Caleb who wasn't in the picture mood!)

Addyson, of course, found an i-phone to play with.  My how things have changed!

Nana and her sweet Bennie!

Love this one!
