Baby Clayton is here!

Clayton Nicholas Vicari has arrived! He is super precious and has the prettiest, sweetest little face. Jennifer started having contractions early this morning (after being induced a little) and she delivered him at 2:18 this afternoon. Mommy and baby are doing well! Here are a few pictures that I got today.

Oops- almost forgot the specs! He weighed 7 lbs 13.8 oz and he was 20 1/2 inches long.

My blog has not been updating the times correctly- has anyone else had this problem? It doesn't show that I have a new post on anyone else's blog- so I am trying something to see if this works. If anyone has run into this- let me know!! :)

Chelsea and Nick's house

Friday night we went to Chelsea and Nick's house up in Keller. We always have so much fun hanging out with them! Addyson loves Chels (as she calls her!) and Nick! It was such a nice evening out on the back porch just catching up with them!

Chelsea took some video of Addyson also- you'll have to go to her blog to see it though because I cannot figure out how to post it on my page! Pause her songs at the bottom or you won't be able to hear the video very well.

Fossil Rim

Earlier this week we went to Fossil Rim down in Glen Rose. Addyson absolutely loved it!! She had so much fun and I was glad that we took her. She loves animals so much! Here are some pictures from our visit:

The Zebras were a little frisky. There are signs everywhere that say the Zebras bite. One did come up and nibble on Ryan's arm when he wasn't looking - no major damage done though! Below, this one is trying to get in the car with us!

You were allowed to feed the Giraffes right out of your hand. This one was so sweet and gentle. His big eyes were so pretty and he would just bend his long neck down to eat. So sweet!!

MiMi... I'm Stuck!

Last Friday night Addyson spent the night with MiMi and PaPa (my parents). She always has such a good time! Now that she is in her "big girl" bed, my mom decided that she should be in the "big girl" bed at her house as well. She really is getting too big for the pack-n-play! So, my parents have a queen bed in the guest room and my mom pushed it up against the wall. The wall does have 2 windows on it, so it stuck out an inch or so, but she put up some really big pillows up against the wall. She also has a bed rail on the open side just like her bed at home. So, all is going well. On Saturday morning my dad went in to check on her at 7:30 and Addyson wasn't in the bed. He came into the kitchen and said "Addyson isn't in her bed" and my mom (kind of freaking out at this point) said "What do you mean she's not in her bed"???!!??

So, my mom runs in the room and tears back the covers on the bed- no Addyson. She then starts to panic a little and says Addyson's name loudly as if she is calling for her - ADDYSON!!!!

Then she hears a faint little voice that says "MeeeMeee- I'm Stuck". My mom pulls the bed out from the wall a little and Addyson is stuck underneath the bed on the floor. She wasn't freaking out or upset or anything. Just stuck!! As my mom pulled out the bed from the wall, down came Addyson's pacie onto the floor. Apparently she was looking for it, found it and fell probably trying to reach down for it. When Addyson saw the pacie she got really excited and said "Found It!". I can't believe she wasn't upset or anything and who knows how long she was under there!

When I got there to pick her up, my mom was laughing at that point about it, but it really did scare her to go in there and not see Addyson in the bed. I asked Addyson what happened and she said "I was stuck under the bed!". It was pretty funny, but I am glad she is okay!!

Feeling better

After I took those pics of Addyson earlier today, she got a sudden burst of energy. We played outside this afternoon while Ryan fixed some sprinkler heads. He accidentally cut our phone line in the process, so they are coming out Tuesday to fix that. If anyone needs me- call my cell! :) I let Addyson take a shower in our shower tonight and she had fun doing that. Now, she's off to sleep and I need to pick up the house.

Being lazy

Addyson has been fussy girl today and keeps saying how sleepy she is. Here are a few pics of her being lazy! I guess we have had a busy week and weekend- I think she just needed some down time. She loves to get in our bed and watch cartoons.

Fun Weekend!

We had a great weekend! Friday night Ryan and I went out for a date. It was so much fun! We went to Joe T's for drinks and fajitas. It was so nice outside- we sat on the patio outside and had a yummy dinner! After dinner we went to see "Taken". It was pretty good. It wasn't great acting, but it was a short movie, which I like! Probably not worth seeing in the theater, but a renter for sure! Addyson stayed with Ryan's parents. She always has such a great time over there and never wants to come back home.

Saturday we slept in a little and then met Ryan's parents for breakfast and picked up Addyson. We came home and cleaned house and just relaxed a little. Chelsea and Nick came over for dinner Saturday night and we had a great time catching up with them. After dinner we showed them how to play Rook and before we knew it it was midnight, which was actually 1:00 with the time change. Chelsea and I ended up beating the boys, which is always fun!

Today we enjoyed every second of this beautiful weather. We played outside, did some yard work and played some more. Here are a few pics of Addyson from this weekend!

OMG- The Bachelor

Wow- just finished watching The Batchelor. What a crazy ending!! Not sure who has been watching this but Ryan and I look forward to it every Monday night. Ryan loves this show! Not sure if he would admit to that or not! I feel really sorry for Melissa- but I liked Molly too! Crazy ending and I 'm sad the season is over. Nite Nite!

Our weekend!

This weekend was pretty fun! Friday night the girls got together and went to dinner for Kim's birthday. I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pics! It was me, Kim, Kelly (Kim's sister), Nicole, Marcy and Jennifer. We went to Gloria's in the Highlands and had a great time! After dinner some of them went to Fat Daddy's which is right by my house. I had intentions of going but on the way over I realized how tired I was. I drove by Fat Daddy's and it was PACKED and I thought- oh, I am just going to go home and go to bed. I got home and Ryan was having poker night at our house. It just happened that they were starting a new game right when I got home and I got roped into playing. Well- 6 hours later the game ended and I didn't go to bed until after 4 AM!! Not fun!! I should have just gone to bed like I said I was going to!!!

Saturday morning we had a picture appointment for Hallie and Addyson. I had to get up at 8 and be at my mom's house at 9:00 to help get the girls ready. We got to the picture place and had to wait 45 minutes- the pictures were a disaster. It is just hard to get 2 2-year olds to sit and look cute at the same time. It was a little stressful because me and my mom were having to chase Addyson and Hallie around and look at the picture proofs and decide what we wanted, etc. I don't even know what we got!

Saturday night we went to dinner with Ryan's parents at this really good Mexican place near downtown Fort Worth. It was really good- everything was very home-made tasting and it was fun! Addyson was really good, which always helps!

Today we did our normal routine- church, grocery shopping, home for homemade Nachos that Ryan makes (yummy!) and then relaxation time while Addyson naps! Don't we have an exciting life??? I took some pics earlier this week- I'll try to post them later!
