Last night me and my sister, LeeAnn, went to the Cowboy game. It was so fun! My mom had won tickets at work and they didn't want to go, so she was going to give them either to LeeAnn and Stewart or me and Ryan. We were going to draw for the tickets. Since it was a late game, we were going to have to figure out what to do with either Addyson or Hallie, would we pick them up late that night, or early the next morning, or what. So, to alleviate these issues, I came up with the idea that LeeAnn and I should just go and the boys could stay home with the kiddos! Sounded like a good idea! Ryan and Stewart weren't too thrilled about it, but oh well!
Ryan (and everyone else) started being a little concerned about LeeAnn and I going out there by ourselves. Neither one of us knew our way around there, we had never been to a game before, but we thought - oh, we'll be fine. LeeAnn brought her pepper spray just in case! So, we got out to the game, parked about 2 miles from the stadium and paid $30... such a rip off, but you don't really have a choice! We met up with my friend Liz and her husband Ryan. They were tailgaiting (they have season tickets) and so we hung out with them for an hour or so before the game. We had a really hard time locating them- it took us probably 40 minutes to find where they were. That should have been our first clue that we had no idea where we were.......
So, with 2 minutes left in the game, LeeAnn and I decided to start back to our car. We thought we might beat the traffic and such and get an early jump on the crowd. Well, not so much. We ended up looking for our car for one hour and 10 minutes. We were completely lost!! It was terrible!! It was 20 degrees outside, dark in a big field with a bunch of thugs, and we were lost. We seriously looked for about 40 minutes for the car and then decided to go find the police. At this point, I was ready to file a stolen car report. Well, since the traffic was so bad, the motorcycle police couldn't get in the lots to look for our car. He said- It's probably in there somewhere, you just can't find it. He also assured me that Ford Escapes are not a high theft item! Good to know! So, we went back and looked some more. This whole time the wind is blowing us over and it is so freezing!! We still couldn't find it. We went back to Mr. Officer and he went and looked for it this time. He told us to stand under a light pole in the middle of this field and wait for him to come back. LeeAnn got out her pepper spray and we waited under the light. We were being so paranoid, but no one ever tried to bother us at all! I called Ryan and LeeAnn called Stewart to tell them that my car had most likely been stolen. Ryan told me to only call him in an emergency, and this constitued an emergency!! His response was, "I told you so- you shouldn't have gone out there with just you and LeeAnn, blah, blah, blah."
Well, about 20 minutes later the Officer came back and he had found my car. We had been looking in the wrong lot. Oops!! So, after all of that- we had been out in the cold for an hour and 10 minutes and we finally got to my car and got home about 1:00 AM! We were laughing so hard and it will definitely be a night to remember our first Cowboys game!

What a story! I'm sure that was so frustrating....dude, where's my car?
The big gray and white guy is an Old English sheepdog, my aunt had one when I was growing up and I fell in love with the breed. They are very different than other dogs, their personalities are hilarious, they are known as couch potatoes and clowns. He has been a good boy.
