Weekend Fun!

We had another jam-packed weekend as usual! Friday night we went over to my mom and dad's house for my birthday dinner. My mom made pot roast, mashed potatoes and lots of other yummy stuff! We topped it off with my favorite- chocolate sheet cake! Thanks Mom!!

Saturday night we had our neighborhood carnival. Each of the neighbors brought a game- we did a pinata. There was ring toss, bobbing for apples, a bouce house, cookie decorating, the Rendon Volunteer Fire Department, and lots more. We cooked out hamburgers and hot dogs and everyone had a great time! Addyson was the youngest one that was out running around and she wanted to hang out with the big kids so bad! I let her run around with them and two sweet little girls watched out for her and took her with them. She had a blast. She was so grown up though- jumping on the trampoline with all of them and running around like she was 8! Here are a few pics:

This was right before the pinata. I don't think she quite understood what was going on. She sure liked her sucker though- she said "This is good!"

Going on the Hay Ride. They did this 4 or 5 times throughout the night. We did this one and then we went again when it got dark. They tried to make it scary and we went on a back street with lots of trees and no houses. The driver said we were looking for the 3-toed wolf and that he had red eyes. He then took a laser pointer and put it out in the woods and the kids all freaked out! It was funny! Again- I don't think Addyson had any idea what was going on, but when all the kids started making wolf noises and howling, she joined along with them!

Bobbing for apples. She would not put her mouth in there, but she wanted to grab all of them and take them!

Hanging out with daddy by the bounce house! She loved this!!

Sunday we slept in a little, which was nice! I went shopping with Brandie as we are both looking for dresses for Vegas in a couple of weeks. There is one night that is dressy and so I am on the hunt for a cute dress! I didn't have any luck today, but Brandie found 3!! She is going to narrow them down and then take the other 2 back. Tonight we went to dinner at Babe's for my birthday dinner with Ryan's family. It was really fun and we had a great time! Thanks Keith and Cheryl!
